The result is a continuous loop of optimisation, both for products and production.

This initiative is in line with the Global CIO Forum Survey results and outcomes for 2022 to showcase best practices and bring industry leaders to initiate discussions and gain insights to adapt to the fast-changing world of business and technology.

Speaking on the occasion Saxena said that the pandemic had accelerated the adoption of digital technologies to reset, rethink and restart the recovery. “Our recent Global CIO Forum CIO 360 Survey with inputs from 500+ C-suite shows an upward trend on investment in digitalisation, especially in data-driven decision-making culture, digital services and the need for common digital standard across industries, to achieve a cost-effective bite-sized solution, improve digital productivity with interoperability to Industry 4.0 standards,” he stated.

“Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation requires a holistic approach to deliver effective outcomes and business success. People-centric, technology-led transformations need an ecosystem of partners and a large network of skilled resources to reap its benefits,” said Nair, adding that centres like the Siemens AMTC provides the requisite platform to meet these requirements – spread awareness, provide experiential training of the workforce, connect with experts and consultants, sandbox the innovations and co-create solutions that the industry needs without huge upfront investments.

“In a disrupted world that accelerated adoption of digital solutions, we need more such initiatives to help enterprises in Singapore and the region succeed in deployment and scale-up of their digital initiatives,” he said.
